Logan's first week...

It's been a really long week and Jon and I are exhausted but it's all worth it. I've found myself just staring at him for hours while he sleeps and watching his different facial expressions while he dreams.

My new favorite thing is watching Jon with him. I didn't think I could love Jon more than I did before Logan came into our lives but seeing him interact with Logan has made me love him so much more and on a much deeper level.

Life is really good now...

LOGAN LEX CHAN

On Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 5:34pm I became a mommy! After 4 days in the hospital, my doctor decided that it would be best to induce labor--it was just getting too dangerous for me and the baby.

My labor was fast and very painful (my epidural wore off when I got to 8cm). Luckily I only had to push for about 5 minutes and he was born! It was the most unforgettable, intense moment of my life!

While my experience wasn't the best, I would be willing to do it over again in a heartbeat!
